WHAT TIME WILL MY VOLUNTEER SHIFT START AND HOW LONG WILL IT BE?

Shift times will be confirmed to you in early February in your roster, each role has a different start time and some will finish late at night. Your shift length will depend on your location/venue/role. Generally shifts are between 3 and 5 hours.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR ON THE DAY?

You will be given an APAM t-shirt to wear. You will need to collect these from the Volunteer Coordinator at the induction before the event or on arrival for your first shift. We ask that you wear comfortable pants or shorts and shoes such as joggers as there may be walking involved and standing on your feet for long periods of time. You may also be in the sun, so reccomend bringing a hat & sunglasses.

AS A VOLUNTEER AM I INSURED?

Yes you are, but in order to be covered by Brisbane Powerhouse’s Volunteer Insurance Policy it is required that you sign on and off on each volunteering occasion at the APAM Office.
