FORUM 3: Towards an Australian Theatre Forum 2011 Hosted by Theatre Network Victoria
In May 2009 a unique gathering of Australia's theatre practitioners, producers, presenters and commentators came together to explore the urgent issues of our time and imagine possible futures for the Australian theatre sector. The Australian Theatre Forum 2009 was the first time the theatre sector had gotten together in this way for over 20 years and it was so successful that there are plans to have regular biennial forums hosted by different cities and towns across Australia.
Theatre Network Victoria has been supported by the Australia Council to start scoping ideas for a second forum in 2011. This workshop will kick off the planning, and be a chance for the sector to keep the conversations going. Panel members will each give a quick overview of outcomes and actions from and since ATF 2009, then there will be chance for delegates to add their ideas and thoughts for ATF 2011.
RSVPs are essential as the workshop component will be based on the number of attendees. Please also remember to tick the box on your APAM calendar. International delegates are welcome to attend.
